About the role

Oxford PharmaGenesis is always keen to hear from people who have aspirations of a career in medical writing. If this is you and you’re ready to take your first step towards your new career, our Associate Medical Writer role could be for you.

As an Associate Medical Writer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality communication materials to clients across different projects and therapy areas. We offer our Associate Medical Writers a comprehensive induction programme as well as ongoing training and support, and the opportunity to take on new challenges. This role is ideal for someone with a strong scientific background and an interest in health science and medical communications.

We are looking for talented Associate Medical Writers who have:

  • a science degree (MSc or PhD), preferably in life sciences
  • writing experience in an academic and/or professional setting
  • strong communication skills
  • the ability to ask for, listen to and learn from feedback
  • a passion for communicating science.
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
  • post-doctoral research
  • the pharmaceutical industry.
