About the role

One of our teams at Oxford PharmaGenesis is looking for a Communications Team Leader. This role would suit a current Lead or Principal Medical Writer who is looking for something new. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a large, publications-focused account and you will help to expand the account into medical communications deliverables.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume publications account that supports a treatment that is approved in the USA and Europe for a rare, progressive heart condition. As the Communications Team Leader, you’ll ensure that content delivery is executed to the highest standard, and you will provide strong scientific leadership and strategic insights, while partnering closely with the client to deliver work collaboratively, innovatively and compliantly.

This role is team-focused, and you will provide support and guidance to both Medical Writers and client service colleagues. You will have experience in considering resource needs, ensuring efficient ways of working and encouraging a team to have strong commercial awareness.

We are looking for a talented Communications Team Leader who can:

• ensure high-quality scientific publications delivery, with outstanding attention to detail and a strong editorial approach
• provide strategic insights and act as a trusted client partner

• identify new opportunities to increase support for clients, including additional medical communications deliverables
• bring a proactive, motivated leadership style, thriving in a dynamic environment and setting the tone for high standards across the team.

If you’re looking to lead a busy publications programme, shape a growing client partnership and bring strong scientific leadership to an established team, we would love to hear from you.
