About the role

Are you a talented Senior Medical Writer who thrives on producing diverse and engaging content?

Oxford PharmaGenesis is looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join one of our rare disease accounts. You will work on a broad range of deliverables, including manuscripts, congress publications, plain language summaries of publications, companion pieces (such as slide decks, infographics and plain language summaries), congress reporting and meeting support.

We are keen to welcome someone to the team who can develop high‑quality scientific content and who also has experience of reviewing work and mentoring less experienced team members. This role has the opportunity for line management.

You will be interested in engaging in scientific communications with clients and comfortable with a significant level of client interaction. This role will be based in our fast‑paced and welcoming London office.

We are looking for a Senior Medical Writer who has:

  • a strong scientific background: a science PhD (preferably in the life sciences) would be advantageous
  • experience writing in the medical communications sector
  • confidence when communicating with a range of scientific and healthcare professionals
  • the ability to think strategically and proactively provide innovative solutions
  • a passion for communicating science
  • a ‘can‑do’ attitude and a collaborative approach to team working.
