Oxford PharmaGenesis is looking for an experienced Account Director who will lead and inspire colleagues to help them to deliver an effective, innovative and efficient service to our clients. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for leading a growing team, so this is a great opportunity for a decisive leader who enjoys mentoring and developing people.
The key focus of this role will be on managing two large publications accounts, in addition to overseeing an increasing number of medical affairs projects. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for business development, securing new opportunities and expanding the team's portfolio, alongside accurate forecasting, budgeting and resource allocation.
This role requires excellent account management skills, and an innovative, proactive and flexible approach. You should have the ability to adapt to changing client priorities and collaborate effectively with the team to provide solutions that exceed client expectations.
The team is based in our office in the Oxfordshire countryside, and we are looking for someone who can join us in the office at least 2 days each week.
We are looking for a motivated Account Director who has:
- significant experience in publications account management within medical communications
- excellent leadership abilities, and experience in managing, mentoring and supporting less experienced team members
- extensive experience of account financial management, budgeting and forecasting
- the ability to think and work strategically.
