We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Global AI and Technology group, which delivers AI and technology solutions to our clients and which supports the implementation and adoption of AI within our company. This unique, exciting role in an established, leading HealthScience communications agency is ideal if you are interested in AI and technology and you would like to help shape the future of our company. You will be driving internal operational programmes and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of innovative client projects with teams across the company. You will also be exploring business development opportunities and supporting technology transformation projects. This role requires proactivity, curiosity, a commercial mindset, and an ability to think critically and strategically.
The Global AI and Technology group is mainly based in Oxfordshire and London and this role would suit someone who can commute to one of our Oxford Offices our London office at least twice each week. We are looking for someone who has experience of building relationships in high-performing teams. You will also be responsible for line managing less experienced colleagues in client service roles.
Skills and experience
We are looking for a talented and experienced Account Director who has:
- experience as an account director in a medical communications agency or similar
- familiarity with technology terminology and concepts e.g. AI, machine learning, data science, large language models, agile and front-end/back-end programming
- excellent organizational skills, with an exceptional eye for detail
- line management, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- strong communication skills, including translating complex technical terminology to clear and compelling narratives for a range of audiences
- a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
- A scientific background would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
