About the role

Are you an experienced Medical Writer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy working with international teams across different time zones? Oxford PharmaGenesis is looking for an Associate Medical Director to join our growing team!

As an Associate Medical Director, you will be responsible for creating high-quality medical communication materials for our clients. Many deliverables will be pre-launch materials and will include posters and slide decks. You will work as part of a transatlantic team with UK-based colleagues and US-based clients, contributing to key discussions, so you will need a global mindset.

We are looking for a talented Associate Medical Director with:

  • ≥ 6 years of experience in a writing-focused role in the medical communications industry
  • an advanced science degree; for example, MS, PhD (preferably in life sciences), MD, PharmD or MPH
  • excellent communication skills and the confidence to contribute to client calls
  • sound knowledge of good publication practices (e.g. Good Publication Practice [GPP 2022] and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors guidelines).

Experience in rare neurodegenerative diseases is beneficial but not essential.

This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in and have the right to work in the USA.
