About the role

We’re looking for an experienced medical writer to play a leading role in a fast-growing team based in Oxford. We’re open to the right individual joining us in the office or being based at home. You’ll work closely with great writers and project managers and become the key contact and scientific lead within Diabetes and CVRM.

We want someone who is passionate about scientific publications and communications, and who enjoys engaging with a broad range of stakeholders in healthcare communications (including clients, academics, publishers, patients and company management). To make the most of this role, you’ll need a balance of top-quality writing and reviewing skills, and an instinct for innovation.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape our support for our clients, including working with our Digital, Creative and Patient Engagement teams, and you should have the confidence to lead projects and programmes with direct client contact, review of other team member’s work and responsibility for success.

We are looking for an established and talented Senior Medical Writer who has:

  • a science degree (PhD advantageous), preferably in life sciences
  • writing experience in a medical communications or pharmaceutical company
  • a proven track record in high-quality strategy and delivery of publications and communications.
