About the role

Are you a talented editorial leader looking for a fresh challenge?

We are looking for an experienced Editorial Team Leader to join one of our editorial teams. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a busy medical communications editorial team across a range of therapy areas and deliverables.

You’ll be adept at providing senior leadership and direction to ensure the successful delivery of projects, with experience in the line management of an editorial team. In addition, you will oversee recruitment and training, lead account alignment, demonstrate strong financial awareness, and engage with senior leadership and other colleagues and functions throughout the business.

The team is based in our Oxford Barns office. You will ideally need to spend some time working in the office, but the arrangement could be hybrid overall.

The successful candidate will have:

a science, English or related bachelor’s degree
previous scientific publishing experience, including extensive experience at senior levels in medical communications, with broad and deep industry knowledge
team management and leadership experience
thorough knowledge of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry Code of Practice and Good Publications Practice 2022 guidelines
